Athletic Ticket Office Internship - The University of Tennessee Athletics Department (Knoxville, TN)

The University of Tennessee Athletics Department, a member of the Southeastern Conference, has two (2) twelve-month positions available July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011. This position is designed to expose the individual to all aspects of a ticket office operation, including learning the Paciolan ticketing system and customer service. Responsibilities include: Management of all ticket office responsibilities for Olympic sports; assisting with game-day management of football and basketball; reconciliation of events; attending meetings and events as assigned by the director of ticket operations. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent customer service and communication skills, and a willingness to work nights and weekends. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; previous ticket office and Paciolan experience preferred. The ability to teach Ticket Sales is required; competency in teaching a variety of undergraduate sport management courses is also necessary.
